sunlight shining through my window
a gentle breeze is blowing by
fragrant flowers everywhere
so many colors to describe

orange and gold, upon the fence
blue and purple underneath
white and pink within the trees
red roses at their feet

palm trees dancing in the wind
dot the yard with cooling shade
sunlight shining through my window
oh what a beautiful day
