raindrops falling on silent rooftops
the howling wind desperately trying to get in
lightning flashes in the distance
the sky seem to ignite from deep within

I feel the fear within my heart bubbling to explode
the sound of rolling thunder sends my fears into overload
with each breath I wait and listen for the sirens that I know
will send my body into shock, fear of the unknown

my mind is spinning, wondering, fearing things I cannot see
waiting, listening, hoping, praying, trying just to breath
